The story of Petit Gros Lorrain began in an attic when Philippe Marchand, heir to a family of Lorraine cheese makers and refiners for six generations, discovered a round mold made of fir wood. Inside is a notebook written by her grandmother's hand, detailing the complex maturing of Gros Lorrain, a centuries-old cheese from the Gérardmer region.
