Carabinero, also known as Scarlet Shrimp or Cardinal Prawns, is a species of deep-sea prawns that hail from Spain. They are also known for their large size and bright red color, which makes them stand out from other varieties of shrimp.

They are 0% glazed, ensuring maximum freshness and flavour

While the shrimp meat itself is delicious, the head of the Carabinero is also highly prized for its use in making soups and stocks. This wild-caught jumbo prawn is extremely versatile and should be treated as a delicate lobster. We recommend trying them grilled, poached, sautéed, or steamed
